Google, Microsoft, and Facebook have been pushing global connectivity a lot recently. If the White House has done anything in the last eight years, other than big pieces of legislation like the ACA, it has definitely stepped up in the IT world. Moreover, I found myself recently going back to Usability.Gov every so often for references. A pretty solid resource for UX and User Research, and that surprises me. Considering the government can hardly get anything done anymore, this site seems like a win.
