Personal growth should be your passion.  It's mine.  I'm always trying to find new ways to do things, new skills and languages to learn, and find new experiences.  Professionally, it's clear that technical skills are increasingly important.  While our ability to employ these skills becomes more refined and sophisticated, some may fall to the wayside.  However, it doesn't mean we should sit around and wait.  I really appreciate this post from The Daily Muse because they've done the thinking for us.  Granted, it's some clever content marketing for the online learning platform PluralSight, it still helps frame some goals for the year.  As always, goals are necessary because if you're not assessing you're just guessing.  If you don't set clear, measurable goals, then you'll hardly get anywhere.  Best wishes for a productive year.
